There’s plenty to do outside of the creeks as well, with fresh local seafood sold at the market or in the restaurants, local boutiques, art galleries, and museum.  McClellanville is also just an 30 minutes to Mount Pleasant’s Town Center shopping center, the Isle of Palms beach, and historic Georgetown’s waterfront.  15 more minutes and you can reach Charleston and Pawley’s Island and the shopping and shows in Myrtle Beach are just an hour’s drive.
