Adelaide Herring brings over 30 years experience in property management in addition to her career as a sales agent. As a native Charlestonian, she has a comprehensive knowledge of the area and a strong desire to make her home, your home. Realizing this is one of the most important decisions a person and/or family can make, she commits herself to making sure it is the best decision for each client and devotes herself entirely to the process. Adelaide brings transparency, honesty and thoroughness to the table with the goal of making each client a client for life.
Adelaide and her husband, Oren, are very involved in the local community and church and love being a part of McClellanville. Her three grown children live in the Charleston area and her daughter is following in her footsteps in the real estate industry.
Adelaide is currently working with Seacoast Church’s McClellanville Campus as the Local Mission Outreach Coordinator. She is also a member of the McClellanville Ladies’ Literary Society, participates in the local exercise class, and is known to occasionally perform with a line dance group. She has a true zest and enthusiasm for life and doesn’t meet a stranger. Her passion is traveling and being immersed in other cultures which she believes is the best form of education.
From the first minute on the phone with Adelaide, she made me feel as if we had been friends for a long time. She listened to what I was looking for and worked around my schedule showing me lots for sale to build, as well as homes, as the inventory was extremely low. She provided me with a wealth of history as we drove around McClellanville. I had to leave but returned with my family and again Adelaide was extremely flexible and took us to revisit some of the areas I had seen prior. We found an amazing home, and after revisiting it a few times, talking with our family and asking Adelaide numerous questions, we decided to place an offer on the house. During the transaction, Adelaide was on my speed dial and provided the much needed expertise and guidance on purchasing our new home and working so diligently with us long distance during the process. She gave us many recommendations on local professionals. She not only provided professional realtor guidance but she also made us feel so welcome as new residents from another state joining the McClellanville community. Once we moved into our new home, Adelaide continued to check in on us and introduced us to so many people within the Village. With her genuine infectious friendliness, we were able to settle in quickly
and plant our roots in this special and unique community. When working with realtors, it requires building a great trust during the purchase of a house. Adelaide was there with us from the beginning to the end. While it was a business transaction, Adelaide went above and beyond to inject her professionalism and friendliness. Her compassion is like no other and she truly strives to make new homeowners happy in their decisions.
