Daniel Bates is the Broker-in-Charge and founder of MCVL Realty. He is a McClellanville native and has lived in McClellanville’s Historic District, Skipper’s Point, Mouzon’s Bluff, and Silver Hill throughout his life. Daniel has specialized in local real estate and rental management for 12 years. He is always testing new technology to offer the best service possible for his clients and he excels in marketing.

Daniel graduated from Appalachian State University and served as a police officer in Rock Hill for 4 years. He then went on to become a national internet marketing consultant where he educated thousands of real estate agents in blogging and social media.

Daniel is a founding board member on the Bulls Bay Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as its chairman. Daniel is also on the advisory board for the McClellanville Land & Sea Market and president of the Mouzons Bluff Homeowners Association. He has served as McClellanville’s Deputy Town Marshall, Chairman of the
Architectural Review Board and was on the board for the founding of CREECS Charter School where he still contributes to their fundraising
efforts.

Daniel is married and is the proud father of three. He enjoys fishing and kayaking and cheering for Duke basketball. Daniel is a member
of McClellanville’s Seacoast Church congregation where he twice facilitated Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University series.

In addition to a Brokers license, Daniel also completed the following training to better serve his clients needs:

SRS – Seller Representative Specialist
ABR – Accredited Buyer’s Representative
RSPS – Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist
